Furcadia!
Tacoma Tigressfire

Tacoma is a Cloud Tiger, based off the real-life Siberian Tiger but with markings to blend into the clouds and sky. Cloud Tigers are expert hunters of large migrating birds, their colors help them remain mostly undetected until they are just within claw's reach of their high flying prey. Tacoma takes two primary forms in art - anthrophomorphic (human body, tiger face/fur) and feral (quadruped, mostly animal with few human like behaviors). On occassion she can be a combination of the two (centaur-style) or take on a completely different animal form entirely. The latter is known as shapeshifting, where she will retain her stripes or markings, and shift into the shape of another creature (like a white wallaby with blue stripes). Tacoma is generally docile, when not upset or hunting. She is nocturnal and sleeps about as much as any cat. She has no young, and does not reproduce as a feral.

Anthropomorphic Tacoma is a different creature entirely. She is the daughter of Skylion, a somewhat sane if egotistical scientist. She was mothered by a feral dog in Sky's laboratory, as she grew older and smarter was chipped and released. She never felt she could relate to other anthros, and lives in solitude as a result. The exceptions are her good friend Rex the black labrador and her mate Lunati the mouse. Species rarely influences how well anthros will work together. They are all relatively the same size and height (with expections to taurs, macros and dwarves). It's common to see pairings like foxes and rabbits, deer and lions, or cats and rodents in the anthro world.

Just as Tasmin has her role in my life, Tacoma represents my inner strength and perseverance. She is the part of me that, despite life's trials, will always pull through better than ever after troubled times. She has been a popular figure in my drawings since I was ten years old. Tacoma is less secretive than Tasmin, but with much less to hide. She is relatively pure of heart, and kind to others even if they do not share her empathy. Like most cats she prefers to be alone, but rarely turns down an offer of friendship or denies help to those who really need it. It's easy to see why Tacoma has been a part of my life for so long, she is easy to love and has many qualities that I admire (although, she can keep the fur). :P
