Introduction

The family Stålnacke (am. Stohl) worked as blacksmiths (nail-smiths) in differens factories in provinces in central Sweden.
All of the family living in USA.
The first generation lived with family at Upper Degerfors´ factory in Karlskoga´parish in province of Värmland in central Sweden, where Anders Gustav (Andersson) Stålnacke (1815-1878) took the surname about 1849. That was connection to his prove to be master of blacksmith. He had friends in the same factory as him. His friends´surname were also Stålnacke, but they belonged to others older family name. So conclusion Anders Gustav "took" theirs surname. A few years later (1854) his family with his first wife and one son moved from Upper Degerfors´ factory to Lagerfors´ factory in Bällefors´parish in Skaraborg County in the province of Västergötland in central Sweden. His second wife brought him three children but only one child (girl) survived.

The second generation was the son Karl Gustav Stohl (Stålnacke) born 1853. He had worked in Pittsburgh, PA, USA in 1874. That was before his marriage. He worked with his father in the same factory in Bällefors´ parish. He moved with his own family (wife and three children) from Lagerfors´ factory to Finspång´s factory in Risinge´s parish in province of Östergötland in 1882. At the moving book of Risinge´s parish that says the man´s occupation was "Nail-Setter". One year later (1883) the family moved to Karlhult´s factory in Motala´s parish in province of Östergötland. His wife brought him here one child (girl) who baptised to Gerda Axelina born 1883.
The family emigrated (wife and four little children) from Motala´s parish to seaport of Gothenburg and there they travelled to seaport of Boston, MA, USA at October 17, 1884. Before that time, the husband emigrated from seaport of Gothenburg to seaport of Boston, MA, USA at May 9, 1884. The rest of the family moved to the new home in Wakefield, Middlesex County, MA, USA.
There they changed their swedish surname to a new american surname "Stohl".

Miller-Worker in Svartå´s Mill in Kvistbro´ parish in province of Närke in 1846-1847. Married first at December 7, 1850 in Karlskoga´s parish (S) with Maria Kajsa Janson born at December 27, 1824 at Ölsdalen in Karlskoga´s parish in the province of Värmland (S), Sweden. Died 1857 at Lagerfors´ factory in Bällefors´ parish in Skaraborg County (R) in the province of Västergötland, Sweden.
Daughter of miner and farmer Jan Nilsson (b. 1790 in Karlskoga´s parish) and his wife Anna Olson (b. 1795 in Nysund´s parish).
Married second in 1858 in Bällefors´parish (R) with Johanna Johanson born at April 25, 1835 in Undenäs´ parish (R). Died after 1898 in Undenäs´ parish (R).

Elis Stålnacke born at December 2, 1860 and died at April 18, 1861 in Bällefors´ parish (R).
Hilda Sofia Stålnacke born at January 15, 1864 in Bällefors´ parish.
She moved to Gotenburg in 1881. She had two children, Gustav Henning Stålnacke 1890-1969 and Svea Adolfina Johanna Stålnacke born 1893, as were the born outside marriage.
August Theodor Stålnacke born at July 10, 1868 and died at September 11, 1880 in Bällefors´ parish.

She married in 1895 with her husband Michael McMahan in Wakefield, MA. His occupation was iron molder.
Alfrida Wilhelmina Stohl born at July 24, 1877 in Bällefors´ parish (R). Died at September 25, 1902 in Wakefield, MA, USA. She called "Mina Stohl" in Wakefield, MA. She married at August 31, 1895 with her husband Alexander James Stewart in Wakefield, MA, USA.
Karl Justus Leander Stohl born at January 9, 1881 in Bällefors´ parish (R). He called "Charles L. Stohl" and lived in Greenwood, Wakefield Town, MA.
