Hello there! My name is Stewart Tiernan. I'm 21 years old, and I live in Valparaiso, Indiana. I currently attend SNHU pursuing a BA Degree in Graphic Design and Media Arts. My desire to become a designer began at a young age. As a child, I enjoyed drawing all kinds of cartoon characters. Throughout my childhood, I spent a lot of time watching my mom draw which really inspired me. Years later, specifically in 2007/2008, I was introduced to Star Wars and fell in love with it. I’ve been a huge fan ever since. My favorites are the prequels. Star Wars, however, especially the Star Wars The Clone Wars TV Series, was extremely inspirational to me. This is when my love for art and design really began to develop into something more. Then, when I was in Middle School, I was introduced to digital design and the Adobe Programs. Unfortunately, I didn't have a lot of opportunities to use them until I entered High School three years later. I spent the next four years learning as much as I could about digital design and photography. It was then that I truly realized my desire to become a digital artist. This profession will allow me to be involved in both creating and designing things digitally. On this website, I've incorporated pieces created on a variety of different mediums ranging from paintings to photography. These should provide a good example of my diversity as an art and designer.
