It is hard to believe that more than 40 years have gone by this quickly since we graduated from grammar school, but believe it or not they have and in doing so we have put together a reunion to celebrate this occasion...and yes to have some fun. The class before us, the Class of '60 had a reunion last year. They were able to locate all but one person in their class! They had an incredible time and are still having little "mini" reunions and renewing old friendship as we hope to do. Please help us locate more of our classmates by going to the "missing classmate list" on the home page.
How It Got Started
A group of us (who have found each other mostly through Internet e-mail) have been putting the pieces of the puzzle of our class together and are planning a reunion for Saturday, November 8, 2003. We hope you will be able to attend the reunion. The details are given on the home page. We will also be able to tour the school the night of the reunion, which will be great fun! We are planning some other events for the weekend to make it a time to remember. Perhaps a get together the Friday evening before the Saturday reunion at Ernie's Taco House for a sneak preview? We'll keep you informed as we go.
Our Website
St. Charles had a list of classmates with addresses (many of the addresses were stale). A core group of classmates got together and collected many E-mail addresses for our classmates. They have been in touch with quite a few people via e-mail and a lot of memories are going back and forth between those who have been found. One of the reasons this website was created is so that many people can share even more memories. E-mail makes it easier to keep in touch and is helping people really get involved and excited about seeing each other again. So please visit all the sections especially the "Sign the Guest Book" page to leave pictures and notes for others. Let's have some fun with this.
Missing Classmates List
From the home page you will find a menu item for a list of missing classmates. We need your help in finding people! Please take the time to look at the list and let us know by e-mail or phone, etc., as to where a classmate might be located. It is such a "blast" to find out about people that have been on your mind since you left St. Charles...and you maybe wondered what had become of someone in particular. Now you can find out!
A Few Crazy Folks to Contact
Please make plans to rearrange your schedules to include attending your Class of 1961 Reunion. It will be great fun to see you there and get a chance to find out what you have been up to for the last 40 years or so (see the fun poem about reunions).
