Unit 16 is based on creating databases, in this unit students will learn how to use a database software including creating forms and queries.

You will also learn to sort data in your database, what different data tyes are, how to create reports and the principles of databases. Students will also be creating their own user guide on how to use a database, so that other users can use.

This unit also has three pass criterias, Pass which is tasks P1 to P8. Merit which is M1 to M5 and Distinction which is only one task D1.

To pass this unit you must have completed all of the passes to its preferred standard.
