In case you didn't know, Jas is an abbreviation for 'James'. Jas is the Director here at JCM.
His full name is James Warren Felter. Friends (usually) call him Jim.
Jas is a contemporary North American visual artist. You are invited to visit several of JCM's Galleries to view examples of his visual art production, most of which is available for exhibition and sale. Inquiries are always welcome.
A particular interest here at JCM is Artistamps. You will find a lot of information on this topic in JCM's Library, which includes a cyber-version of the International Directory of Artistamp Creators. You can also view many Artistamps from around the world in JCM's Artistamp Gallery.
Jas is has completed his collection of 12,000 empty, used cigarette packs from around the world and begun designing The Smoking Room - a memorial to the 20th Century. You can follow his progress by visiting The Jas Millennium Project (cc).
Jas' studio is located in the beautiful mountainous seaside city of West Vancouver (faximum.com seems to host: www.westvan.org/ - ed. c.2009). Studio visits may be arranged by appointment.
