Brokk appears as a tall teenager of about the age of 14. He has an average build without any great amount of muscles. He is yet to get facehair but he has his blond hair braided in a tail down to the centre of his back. He has a small scar underneath his left ear that appears to have healed a few years ago. His face is a little chubby with high and broad cheekbones that help accent his smile. His skin is white. His voice has broken.

Brief history

Brokk's parents, Svetja (mother) and Beok (father), are a herding couple from Firthenor, in Halskapa. Svetja gave birth to Brokk when they lived in Gyrnak, which is futher north in the wilderness of Hogunmark, but when Brokk was 4 years old, they were forced (on the recommendation of Gyrnak's druid, Yoeder) to move further south to Firthenor due to Svetja's worsening health after Brokk's birth.

However, Beok still returned regularly to Gyrnak to help handle the herds and visit family and clan. Even when he was only 6 years old, Brokk would accompany him with his older brother Kris and sister Freja. While in Gyrnak, Brokk caught the attention of Yoeder in his general attitude towards the animals and their wellbeing. Yoeder alerted the druid at Firthenor, Aerwen, who kept a careful watch over Brokk. Aerwen, with the help of Svetja and Beok, steered Brokk towards work that had him working with various animals and gave advice on the care, use and habits of the creatures. When Brokk was 8, Aerwen took him under her control and began training him properly in the ways of Erik.

Brokk's speciality is in animal husbandry and basic veterinary healing. Aerwen was loosely attached to the Oaken Grove of Eric line of worship and she made sure that Brokk used the resources and books of the church to further his research and training. Having finished his basic training, Brokk has since travelled further in the world, learning much and educating others.

His brother Kris (now 27) is now married and has returned to Gyrnak where he is primarily a hunter. His sister Freja (now 23) married a son of the captain of the guard in Firthenor. Svetja is still ill.

Skogbeskytteren

Brokk's holy symbol is a +2 Rjurik battle axe named Skogbeskytteren. It was given to him as a gift by the smith of the village of Svalhelm, in thanks for the services rendered by Brokk to the community, and blessed in a ceremony by Aerwen, Brokk's mentor. The smith created the head of the axe, but the oaken handle came from a tree that played an important part in the village's folklore. Brokk is now part of that folklore too.
Skogbeskytteren became magical during the visit to the faerie court, for druids are normally well received by faerie folk.
