The Lowdown:
I got into this band a while after hearing the fourth ending theme for the anime Rurouni Kenshin (1/3 Junjou na Kanjou). I was spurred to download more of their stuff after hearing Sugao no Mamade in a KOF2001 combo video. Their sound is very energetic, and they've got some mad skillz. Triptych is testament to this. The singer is a bit high-pitched, but there's nothing really wrong with that, and their music is good stuff. Personally I prefer Siam Shade to L'Arc~en~Ciel and the other J-Rock bands on this list, except X Japan and Luna Sea of course :D
As is the case with all good bands (sigh) THEY DISBANDED LAST YEAR! Gah.
