The Lowdown:
L'Arc~en~Ciel is one of the more popular J-Rock bands. They have a very mixed pop/rock feel, and as a result most of their music is light. The first L'Arc song I listened to was The Fourth Avenue Cafe, when it briefly appeared as an ending theme for the anime Rurouni Kenshin. After that, my friend introduced me to a lot of other L'Arc songs that I thought were pretty neat.
As it turns out, it seems that L'Arc is finished as well. Their last work (to my knowledge) was Spirit Dreams Inside, a track for the Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within soundtrack. The movie bombed quite badly at the box-office, and so too, it appears, L'Arc. Apparently, it seems we won't be hearing from them anymore.
Hyde and Tetsu have moved on to their individual careers, neither seeming to hit the spot like L'Arc did. Sigh.
