For fiction: 1. Snape must play a major role. He does not necessarily have to be a main character, but he has to be pertinent to the story. 2. Characters in the story must remain fairly true to themselves. That means, no stories where Snape is wearing stilletto heels or pink capes, (unless it's really a boggart). This also means NO SLASH. Keep J.K.R.'s characters in character to the best of your ability. 3. I want to keep this site fairly clean, so no serious huggy-bear-smacky-mouth scenes, and no careless use of vulgar language. I understand that sometimes foul language needs to be used in writing, but it is rare. I will be the final judge of what goes and what stays. I will usually just ask you to replace "you b------" with, "you toad", or some made up creative word. One of the joys of the Harry Potter books is the creative use of the English language, so be creative! 4. Your story does not have to be finished, but there has to be a good start. So if you're working on that novel-length story, you can submit that as well. 5. Lastly, I get the final say. I suggest you just send to me what you have even if you don't know if you pass these guidelines.
Send stories in body of e-mail or attatched as a Microsoft Word .doc to [email protected]
*You may also send me a link to your story if you already have it posted to your own site. Fan Fiction.Net does not count as I find that it is difficult to access from some computers.
Before you submit your story or artwork, I ask that you read through the guidelines I have listed below. As the goal with this site is to put together some of the best of Snape fiction out there, I will be picky when choosing. But don't let that deter you! If your story sort-of follows the guidelines, but you're not completely sure, send it in anyway. I may only give you a few suggestions before deciding to post your story or art here. But please read this page first!

And lastly, but very important, I am not interested in Mary Sue stories. If you haven't heard of this, HLB has written a fantastic and humorous piece dictating what exactly is a Mary Sue. Please read and be enlightened!
