Peperiksaan PMB (Menengah 3) @ $75/- (pemegang kad pengenalan hijau sahaja) /

Peperiksaan Jun BGCE ‘O': bayaran mengikut mata pelajaran yang diperiksa (semua

penuntut) / All candidates, regardless of IC colour, pay according to the rates below for

the June BGCE ‘O' level exam

Peperiksaan Okt/Nov BGCE ‘O' level: bayaran mengikut mata pelajaran yang diperiksa

(pemegang kad pengenalan hijau, penuntut mengulang dan penuntut yang gagal)

Penuntut yang berhenti sekolah selepas didaftarkan untuk ‘O' level dikehendaki membayar Examination Fees yang berkaitan .

Students who leave school after registering for the BGCE ‘O' Level exams are required to pay the relevant exam fees.

1. School Rules

Students are required to observe the following school rules and regulations.

Be punctual for school.

Be punctual for lessons, tests and exams.

Be well-behaved and courteous at all times.

Pay school fund, school fees and exam fees on time.

Complete assignments and hand them in on time.

Be well-groomed and dress neatly in the proper and complete school uniform.

Look after the cleanliness of our classrooms and school compound.

Use school facilities and equipment with care and responsibility.

Students should not be in the Administration Block unless on an errand or for a legitimate purpose.

Students should attend extra / remedial classes according to the Extra Class Timetable.

Students who cheat or are in breach of examination and test regulations will be penalized.

They will get no marks for the test / exam paper if it is their first offence. If they cheat again, they will not get marks for the entire exam or test.

Students who smoke or bring cigarettes face disciplinary action such as suspension.

Students who take alcoholic drinks also face disciplinary action such as suspension.

Students who take drugs or pedal them face severe disciplinary action and will be reported to the Police.

2. School Hours

Students who are late for school (after registration) will not be admitted to class without a late slip from the Registrar. When a student is late for 3 days, he will be marked as absent for one day. Students are reminded that attendance is one of the criteria for promotion to the next

3. School Library Membership / Keahlian Perpustakaan Sekolah

All students are members of the school library. A membership card for borrowing library books is issued when a student submits a photocopy of his or her Identity card to the librarians.

This card entitles you to a loan of 2 library books for a period of 14 days. The loan can be extended by taking the book(s) to the library counter for renewal. You will be fined if you return a book after the due date.

Our library resources include:-

Computers with Internet access

Malay and English newspapers and magazines

Reference books such as encyclopedias, textbooks, books on facts and information, books about sports and hobbies, and revision guides.

Non-reference books such as story books, comics and picture books.

Past-year papers from our school tests and exams (enquire at the counter)

Past-year papers for PMB, ‘N' level and ‘O' level (enquire at the counter)

Students are encouraged to use the library in their free time such as at break-time and during the school holidays. Morning session students can also use the library after school, and afternoon session students can use it before afternoon classes start.

4. Test & Examination Progress Reports / Laporan Ujian & Peperiksaan

An Individual Report is issued to every student after a test and exam. A copy of the report is also kept in the student's Personal File in the school.

Reports for Test One (Feb/March), Qualifying Exams and End-of-Year Exams are collected by parents at Parent-Teacher Meetings. Test Two (Aug/Sept) reports and Mid-Year Exam reports are collected by the students from their Form Teacher.

5. Attendance / Kedatangan

A student who is late for 3 school days, is marked in the Register as being absent for one day

A student who is absent from school for 3 consecutive days without informing the school will be issued a written warning

A student who is absent from school for 7 consecutive days without informing the school in advance will be taken off the Register. To continue studying at the school after his name is struck off the Class Register, the student has to apply for reinstatement to the Secondary Section, Ministry of Education

A student whose attendance for the school year is less than 85% will be retained in the same level for another year

6. School-leaving Certificate / Sijil Berhenti Sekolah

A school-leaving certificate is issued by the School Registrar to a student who has finished his/her studies (e.g. after PMB / ‘N' or ‘O' level).

Before the certificate is released by the Registrar, the student has to return all school property on loan – textbooks, library books, ECA equipment, etc. pay all outstanding fees – school fees / school fund / exam fees sponsorship monies and cards for fund-raising projects (e.g. Walkathon Card)
