Besides also being the name of Kid's "group" of thieves, Radical Dreamers is the game that Chrono Cross was based off of, making it the real sequel to Chrono Trigger. Released quietly in Japan in 1996 for the Satellaview system, it never made it to America. It wasn't until the people at Squaresoft decided that Radical Dreamers needed to be redone that we ever heard of it. When it was remade, many things about it changed, from the graphics to the story, and finally the name. Chrono Cross was released as the more official sequel to Chrono Trigger, and in both countries. Radical Dreamers is the original sequel, though, and I've made it my mission to investigate it.
