Smokie's Bio... Welcome to my music page. I started playing guitar when I was eleven. I enjoy playing various styles of guitar, including R&B, rock and roll, even some country. (My wife always said there was a country picker inside just waiting to come out!) I have played with many different bands in the United States, Canada and Southeast Asia. The music represented here is played using backing tracks, which are tracks without the melody vocals and lead guitar. As I am a not an accomplished singer I have tried to let the guitar be my voice. My guitars include an original Gretsch Chet Atkins Nashville (6120), a Gretsch Double Anniversary (6118), a Fender Jazzmaster and an Ibanez acoustic. My amplifiers include a Fender Bandmaster Reverb and a Fender Pro Chorus. I hope you enjoy my music as much as I enjoy playing it. ...Smokie |
