About Nelson Cross

EAGLE
Symbol of great wisdom, authority and power, one of the principal crests of the Haida tribe.

Nelson Cross has been carving and designing original haida art for over 25 years. Nelson is from the Eagle Clan on Haida Gwaii (the Queen Charlotte Islands), where he learned to carve from his uncle, Gordon Cross. Descendant of John Cross, Master Carver, Nelson finds inspiration in his heritage. His father, Raymond Cross, also an artist, fashioned exquisitely carved leather handbags, wallets and other items.

Nelson's carving technique is distinct and personifies his Haida heritage with his masterful style. His designs are original and reflect the traditions of his Haida ancestry.

Custom Wedding Bands, featuring both realistic and mythical animals, embody the symbolism, spirituality and distinction that a couple may seek to celebrate their special day. Nelson takes pride in helping realize a couples' innermost needs to ensure an unforgettable experience.
