Paris

On our first night in Paris, we went up to the second level of the Eiffel Tower.

A view from the second level.

Arc de Triomphe

The Triumphal Arch dates back to 1806, when Napoléon commissioned the arch build as a tribute to the glory of the French Army. Construction on the Arch began in 1806, but was not finished until 1836.  The Arch stands 164 feet height by 148 feet wide.

The Moulin Rouge, one of the most famous cabarets in the world.

On the left is the the tunnel de l'Alma where Lady Diana and Dodi Al-Fayed were killed in the automobile accident in August 1997. On the right is the unofficial memorial to that accident. It sits on the street level just above the tunnel.
