The Phalanges Sub Sector

The Phalanges Sub Sector has been without the light of the emperor
for over 120 years. It was once a rich and prosperous sector, but
over the past century many of it�s systems have fallen to dark gods,
pirates, and aliens. Many warp storms ravage the area, making warp
travel dangerous if not impossible.
In a play for more power in the Senate, High Admiral Terkamer
recently reopened this sub sector to the rest of the Paradise Sector,
arriving just in time to keep Valderan from being overrun by orks.
Unfortunately, heavy fighting and pressing matters elsewhere depleted
his resources, allowing him to liberate only a small handful of
planets before being bogged down.
There has been little talk in the Senate about renewing the Crusade,
but with the resent election of Valtan Drumm (a complete unknown) to
a seat on the Senate as Governor of the Phalanges, this is likely to
change, and with much of this sub sector not under imperial control,
it is likely to be a long hard fight. |
