Smash Attack- Secrets

Uncovering Secret Characters:

Luigi:

To unlock Luigi: Clear the first stage of Adventure Mode with a two in the timer's seconds category to make Luigi appear in the next stage. Defeat him quickly, then finish Adventure Mode. Or, you can unlock Luigi by playing Vs. Mode more than 800 times. (stick with the first option)

Dr. Mario:

To unlock Dr. Mario: Beat the classic mode on any difficulty, with any number of lives, and any number of continues with Mario. Or, play VS mode 100 times. After doing either, Dr. Mario will challenge you. Beat him to unlock him.

Falco:

To unlock Falco: Clear the 100 Man Melee, an easy way to do this is just use DK's down-B move until you win. You could also use Link's up-B move, or Kirby's up-B move. Or, play VS mode 300 times. After doing either, Falco will challenge you. Beat him to unlock him.

Marth:

To unlock Marth: Use all of the 14 original characters at least once in VS mode, classic mode, or adventure mode. Or, play VS mode 70 times. After doing Either, Marth will challenge you. Beat him to unlock him.

Roy:

To unlock Roy: Beat adventure/classic mode with Marth without continuing, and Roy will challenge you. Beat him to unlock him.

Ganondorf:

To unlock Ganondorf: Beat Event #29 (Triforce Gathering) and he will challenge you. Beat him to unlock him.

Mr. Game & Watch:

To unlock Mr. Game & Watch: All other 24 Characters have to be unlocked, clear either classic mode, adventure mode, or break the targets with all of them. Mr. Game & Watch will challenge you after that. Beat him to unlock him.

Pichu:

To unlock Pichu: Complete Event #37 (Legendary Poke'mon) or play vs. mode at least 200 times.

Young Link:

To unlock Young Link: Complete Classic Mode with Link, Zelda, and 8 other characters. Or, play vs. Mode at least 500 times. After meeting either requirement, Young Link will challenge you. Beat him to unlock him.

Jigglypuff:

To unlock Jigglypuff: Beat either Adventure Mode, or Classic Mode with any character on any difficulty. Yes, yes. Continues allowed.

Mewtwo:

To unlock Mewtwo: Play VS. Mode for a total of 20 hours (not all at once, in total). Also this time is divided among how many players are controlled by humans (NOT CPU!). So if you have just 1 human player, you play for 20 hours, 2 humans = 10 hours, 3 = 6 hours 40 minutes, 4 = 5 hours. Also DON'T leaved the game paused to do this. Or, play VS. Brinstar Dephts (Planet Zebes):

To unlock Brinstar Dephts: Play 50 VS. Mode matches to unlock this stage.

Mushroom Kingdom II:

To unlock Mushroom Kingdom II: Get the Birdo trophy to unlock this stage.

Big Blue (F-Zero):

To unlock Big Blue: Play 150 Vs. matches.

Fourside (Eagleland):

To unlock Fourside: Play 100 Vs. Mode matches

Kanto Skies: Poke'floats (Poke'mon):

To unlock Kanto Skies: Poke'floats: Play 200 VS Mode matches

Super Flatworld: Flat Zone (Game & Watch):

To unlock Flatworld: Unlock Mr. Game & Watch and defeat Classic mode with him.

Metal Mario Stage: Defeat All-Star Mode (secret mode) with any character.

Master Hand Arena: Clear all 51 Event Matches

Pupupuland (N64 Kirby Stage): Complete Target Test successfully with all 25 characters.

Yoshi's Island (N64 Yoshi Stage): Hit over 1315 feet in the Homerun Contest with Yoshi.

Kongo Jungle (N64 DK Stage): Finish 15-minute Man Melee with any character (Tip: use Donkey Kong with his down+B ground slap)

Random Stage Switch: Unlock all stages to reveal a random stage switch. As soon as you start your melee from the character select screen the match will start. This means you don't have to waste time loading the stage select menu.
