Have long, exciting tournaments with your friends. A great new feature this game has to offer.
Modes......
..
Here is the list of the great modes this game has to offer. You can have fun, and Nintendo insists, customize your battles!
Multiplayer Modes
The quickest way to start a battle with your friends. You get to easily choose how many lives each player gets, and first one to loose them all loses.
Stock
You set the match at how long you would like it to go, and who ever has the highest score wins the match. This can be done in free-for-all or Team Melee.
Time
All of your buds start out at 300% damage.

Add-ons to Time, Stock, and the basic Multiplayer Modes above
You and your opponents are very small. Man it looks very goofy. Click the Pic.
Tiny Melee-Click Here for a Picture
You and your opponents are invisible. Not completely, you can barely...ahh just click on the picture to see what I'm talking about.

Coin Mode is interesting. You and your opponents beat the crap out of each other only this time, coins fly out of them Whatever damage that person does to you, that's how much coins they get. But they don't steal any from you. who ever has the most coins at the end of the match, wins. Coin Key-Gold Coins: 10  Silver Coins: 5  Bronze: 1

It's kinda like a backwards type mode of gameplay. Instead of percent damage, where you try to get the number rising up, you try to make their number go down. The HP represents how much health they have.
Stamina Mode-Click Here for a Picture
One player sits out of the game and films it. The player controlling the Camera angle can do as he/she pleases. You can also take pictures if you have a Memory Card. You must have a controller in controller slot 4 in order to use this mode.

The Camera zooms out as much as possible throught the entire match

A tournament match. You can have a huge tourny with your friends......or enemies.....

You can only jump, walk, and use a-button attacks. A very good begginer mode.
Button Lock Mode-Click to see Pic
Oh yeah, this is my mode. It's an expert mode that allows players to move very fast. Attacks and all.
Lightning Melee
It's as fast as a snail! Quick as a pile of cheese! Yep, it's Slo-Mo Mode. The mode for beginners. Players move really sloooowwwww. For very new beginners, try this mixed with button lock mode.
Slo-Mo Melee
Single Player Modes
Tournament Melee
Have fun, exciting 1-player battles on classic mode. It's like the original SSB 1 player mode only the characters and teams you go against are randomly chosen. And, you have different difficulties to choose from.
Classic
You 1st compete against one opponent. If you win, you continue on.
Melees (you play through out the match)
Normal Melee
On Team Melee, you gain a CPU controlled ally, who helps you battle against 2 other opponents. To score more points, inflict as much damage on them as possible to get higher scores.
Team Melee
The 3 blue cubes on the map key represent Bonus Stages. They are each different and challenging.

Target Test- You must break all of the targets to score extra points.

Trophies- 3 trophies fall from the sky. You must hit them onto the golden platform to claim them as your own. If you complete classic mode, you get to keep those trophies.

Get to the End- Basically, race past enemies to a door. There are twists and turns, which make it rather hard.
Bonus Stage
You and two other CPU allies compete against one huge CPU controlled character. It's not as hard as it looks.
Giant Melee
You will now battle against a randomly chosen metal character from your available characters you have. They are slower and harder to knock off the stage.
Metal Melee
In multi-man melee, you go against a huge group of characters of the same profile. In the easy and normal difficulties, they are easy to knock off the stage. But in the harder difficulty levels, it's not so easily done.
Multi-Man Melee
You battle a random character who has a lot of health. The higher the difficulty, the harder it is to defeat the character.
Boss Battle
Adventure                Click for a Pic
In adventure, you do all kinds of cool little stuff that I don't feel like explaining. You go through dungeons, battle bosses, it's a load of smash fun.
Stadium                    Click for a Pic
On stadium, you battle many different wire-framed characters. You can change difficulties, and levels, etc.
Home-run Derby                    Click for a Pic
You beat up a sand bag and then, try to send it flying a certain distance. You could get trophies, stages, or even characters....
