This page is for taking baby off breast, bottle, and pacifier. I have had some feedback on this topic as follows.
* Mustard is best
* Marmite is another

You just rub these on before baby's feeding time.
* To take your baby off the bottle there are two ways. Ths slow and careful way, or the cold turkey way.
* Slow and Careful way - Introduce a cup or sipper bottle to your child. Keep giving cup or sipper when they ask for bottle, if they refuse then give back bottle. Keep using bottle until your confident your child can let it go and use cup or sipper instead.
* Cold Turkey way - This is the one I used. Removed all bottles from child's view, and gave him cup of milo in the morning and at night before bed. Took a couple days until he realised that he didn't really need his bottle anymore.
* But if your a paitent parent and don't mind your child being on the breast it's actually better for them the longer they stay on. As for bottle well really it's up to you to decide when you think it's 'time'.
* I took my son off the bottle when he got his first tooth. Reason being was because I had a fear that it could somehow re-shape their tooth structure, though I haven't researched on this I would rather play it safe.
