*AJ’s View*
So I’m about to give myself a pep talk. I haven’t asked Rachel back out but I’ve been flirting. That’s better than sitting here doing nothing. It’s been about 4 days since I’ve followed Mary and found her again. AJ you’ve gone out with her before why is this so difficult. She’s the same girl. Just a few more tattoos and a belly ring. I really like that belly ring. She looks so cute in her baby t. I swear I’m gonna ask her out today. Or tomorrow, no AJ…bad…you will ask her out today.
“Hey who wants something to drink?” Rachel pulled me away from my pep talk.
“I’ll take something.” I really did want something to drink. But I didn’t want her to get up. Soon everyone else wanted something to drink. That’s a lot of drink to carry.
“Ya want some help Rach.” I figured she wouldn’t mind.
“Yeah, thanks AJ.” She smiled at me. The little child in me was jumping around doing a little dance. Howie would have called it the teenybopper in me. I love it when she smiles. We went to the kitchen and came back with drinks. ‘Princess Bride’ was about half way through. I had seen the movie before with Rachel and it was really a funny movie. I just like to pick on her about it being a chick flick. Just cause the name sounds like it would be. So the movie had ended and Nick and Mary were taking lines from the movie and repeating them. They are more entertainment than the actual movie. But Mary looked like she was really happy. I remember when she left for Rachel’s house after that whole thing with Brian she smiled but it wasn’t a true smile. It was fake but she was truly smiling. Which in turn made Rachel smile. And I like it when she smiles.
“Now it’s time for ‘Final Destination’.” Rachel said as she got up to put the movie in. Those jeans looked really good on her, I think that they were her favorite considering the hole in the knee. The movie started out kinda eerie. I could of sworn that something was gonna happen. Then we got later into the movie. We were all really into it and trying to figure out who was next to die. Then at one part I don’t remember which one exactly Rachel turned and hid in my shirt. I was surprised that she did that. “Is it over yet?” She didn’t even look at the screen.
“It’s over you can look.” Nick said. She looked and he lied to her.
“You lie.” She said has she looked at him. By the time they were done arguing the scene was over. I really did like her hiding in my shirt. I bet she picked a scary movie just to do that. She’s not that slick. So I think I’m going to be able to ask her out today. Everything is going pretty good. Yeah I’m gonna do it. I just want it to be special. I think I may take her to the beach or something. Or I could just ask her out. Well ya know, I’ll do whatever comes first. We stayed in the house all day. After the movie we played a few video games which the girls won. Only cause we let them of course. Then well like any other guy I’m getting hungry. And I’m sure everyone else was too.
“Ya got somethin’ to eat her. I’m hungry.” I was really hungry and I think if I held out any longer that my stomach would be growling.
“I think we got some pizza left from yesterday.” Rachel said.
“Oh but what you don’t know is that Nick took that with him yesterday.” I had to tell on Nick.
“Hey, I was hungry.” Nick explained.
“Well, let’s see. What are ya guys hungry for?” Mary asked.
“I’m not sure. How about we just get in that kitchen and cook something.” So’Cy suggested.
“How about we cook for the guys. I’m sure we have something we can makes.” Rachel was so nice.
