Folding Table
This was a fairly simple project. Constructed of red oak, this small stool or table folds-up. Making it quite versatile
to use to sit on or place things on it.
When folded up
Here is the stool when it's folded up. The dowel-hinge makes the unit easy to carry.
Since it has so many uses and is easy to construct, it is a good beginners project.
Woodworking Links
This site has a lot of info on woodworking and about anything else you can think of.
Handy pine stool
Another good site for information.
This pine stool is also a good beginners project. It involves some angle cuts for the legs, but nothing too confusing. Some scrollsaw work on the aprons makes it a fun project to design yourself. And by varying the dimensions it can have several different uses.

This stool is now stained and finished. Check my other link to see the finnished product.
Not much happening on my pages as of late. I do plan on updating the pages with new items as I have time. Keep checking back!

More woodworking projects
They say neccesity is the mother of invention. This project reflects that idea. I was tired of all my cd's and papers sliding all over my truck when I was out hot-rodding. So I built this in less than an hour out of some left over material. The most expensive parts were the brass hinges. You can see them below.
Before and after pics of my truck
Still have the pieces cut for the jewelry box that I have no ambition to complete.
