| Ryan Bowers keeps the band together with his strong and steady rhythm as well as providing various vocal harmonies and recently adding his bass skills to the band. Ryan has been playing various percussion instruments, specifically the egg and the bodhran, for about 2 years. Self taught on both, he even makes his own tippers out of material ranging from bone to chopsticks, depending on the weight needed. He began the bass only a few weeks ago at a local Bluegrass camp taught by Bearfoot Bluegrass but has picked it up quite quickly. Ryan has been singing all of his life, but the bulk of his vocal training so far has been with the West Valley mixed choir. He plans to do concert choir in 2004.
