| Collin Stackhouse grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska. He has been playing music for 10 years now and randomly started playing the fiddle when he was in 2nd grade. He took private lessons from Susie Hallinan and started out with a mix of classical music and fiddle music as did all of Susie's students. Collin provides Slightly Askew with his wide-range of vocals and great composition skills, as well as his mandolin and fiddle playing. He is currently a senior at Monroe High School and is the first chair violinist in his school orchestra. As well as playing in the Fairbanks Youth Symphony, he enjoys being in many Fairbanks theatre productions. His father, Mike Stackhouse, influenced him greatly as he is currently a musician as well.
