Morning Star Manor is located in the hills of Northern West Virginia fifty miles South of Wheeling, forty miles West of Morgantown, and ninety miles South of Pittsburgh, PA.  The Manor was originally built around the turn of the century and is in the final stages of extensive renovation.

In 1991 Stan and Nieta Lambert came to the manor from Europe where they had worked as missionaries for their denomination. At that time they assumed the pastorate of the Church of God of Prophecy at Metz, WV. Stan is a Masters Level National Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor.  Nieta is a Registered Nurse.  In 1990 they began to recognize the great need for Christian based counseling and after much prayer and discussion decided to embark on this ministry.

Since that time they have seen what began as a dream and a piece of inspiration from God, develop into a productive ministry.  They first saw a place where troubled couples could come for a two or three day span of intensive marriage and or family therapy, marriage tune-up, or prevention/recovery from service burnout.   They began work on the dream and God has brought about the realization of Morning Star Christian Counseling Services at Morning Star Manor.
