Lady is our newest Mare. She arrived from the Herko mini farm in O' Brien , fl on Sept. 13, 04. I was very fortunate to get Lady and I would like to thank Mrs. Herko for letting me buy her. All my horses get barn names and I think that she's so pretty that she deserves a barn name that will match it.
Lady is a sweet 3 year old mare and she is expected to have a foal in the end of March '05. I'm real excited about showing her I think she would give the competition a run for their ribbons. I'm wowed every time I see her and her pretty little face. When I seen the star on her forhead I knew she was destined to be a Skylight horse. She also has a snip, which I have always thought to be cute on horses. She is registered with AMHR and I'm not quite sure how tall she is but she's in the B range I'm guessing she's maybe 35" - 36"ish.
I was wanting a mare that was at least 5 so all their teeth would be in and their body would be filled out but we're all willing to make exceptions if we see the right one. She is built so nice that I never would guess that she is only 3. So i guess she's just about perfect. I still can't decide who has the better looking Romeo or Lady? I guess Romeo can be the most handsome and Lady can be the most beautiful.
