| Frequently Asked Questions Here is a list of some of the common questions we receive about the SkyHawk Trap Team and their answers. If you need additional information contact Coach Lee White-Hamilton at [email protected] Is Trapshooting Safe? All participants must have successfully completed a Firearm Education course before competing. Who can participate? Any male or female student enrolled at Omaha Skutt Catholic High School in current good academic standing and meeting the Team Code of Conduct. Also, students from other local high schools may transfer eligibility to Skutt provided their school does not have an organized trap team. Do I need to have shooting experience? No, many new SkyHawk Trap members have little or no shooting experience when entering the program. Initial practices will cover the fundementals of trap shooting, proper gun handling, etc. Do I have to go to practice? Yes, it is a requirement to remain on the team to attend, participate and assist at every practice. Any missed practices must be approved by the coaching staff. Where do we practice? The Papillion Gun Club located approximately 5 miles south of Papillion. |
