About me:
I was born in the fine little country of Latvia, in Riga, back when it was still part of the USSR.
Shortly before it was independent, I and my family immigrated to the holy land, where I lived until recently.
Before coming to the Technion, and during weekends I live in Safed, a lovely city in the Galilee Mountains,
and one of the four holy cities to Judaism. You can often find me in Sci-Fi conventions in Israel,
which happen much more often than one can think, and as an active member of the
Technion Debating Club, in many debating competitions in Israel.
Academic:
Currently (as of 2009) I have started doing a PHD at the Munich Graduate School of Economics.
