Anti-Aging Rating: 2.5 out of 5 Overall Impression: Poor Review The Sircuitskin brand has often been labeled an urban skin care line because it is retailed mostly in boutiques and edgy spas in urban areas (Los Angeles, New York, Miami, etc.). It was originally created for the gay community of these cities and marketed as a skin recovery system for wealthy gay men to use after weekend-long circuit parties (hence the origin of the brand's name). Over the years it has since expanded its demographic to include both the general gay community and younger women from a wealtheir background. Of the reviews submitted for this line, almost all of them have rather conflicted conclusions. Many people saw moderate to good results with these products (which do boast fairly impressive ingredient lists), but the prices are very high (even though some of the products come in very cheap looking plastic bottles) and the marketing is almost insulting to the intelligence of most potential buyers. One only needs to go to the Sircuitskin website to see what is being referred to here, as it reads worse than an article in Teen People to the point it's hard to take this line seriously. For products that can cost upwards of $150 the professionalism of this company, or lack there of, is appalling. Even the product names, such as "O.M.G." (Oh My God) come off as juvenile. With such high prices and marketing that uses terms geared more to adolescents it's confusing how this line attracts buyers . Typical Price Range Up to $150 for face products and up to $120 for eye-area products Website www.sircuitskincosmeceuticals.com Similiar Lines AFE Cosmetics, Lamas, Origins, Philosophy |
