Osmotics is a higher end skin care line that utilizes antioxidants such as Coenzyme Q10, Vitamin E, Grape Seed Extract, and collagen enhancing ingredients such as amino acid peptides. All of these ingredients have a great deal of study behind them for their positive effects on the skin and it's refreshing to find a skin care brand that includes a wide variety of beneficial compounds in their respective formulas.
The Osmotics line also utilizes �Blue Copper 5,� which is the basis of some of the formulas. While the antioxidants and peptides have been shown in clinical studies to enhance the skin, consumers must be very aware of the copper used in formulas. Only GHK Copper (composed of three particular kinds of amino acids attached to a copper molecule) has been shown in clinical studies to remain stable in formulas and enhance the skin. While both copper forms do have a light blue tint to them, it is not certain whether Blue Copper 5 is the same molecule or not (no clinical studies are available for the term "Blue Copper 5"). The inclusion of Blue Copper 5 instead of GHK Copper may have originally been done to avoid patent restrictions, but in any case it does not appear to be the same as the GHK-CU copper itself. But despite this it seems that the other ingredients in Osmotics formulas have great anti-aging benefit, as many reviewers have reported very positive results from using these products.
