| Innovative Skincare Anti-Aging Rating: 3.5 out of 5 Overall Impression: Good Review Innovative Skincare (also called IS Clinical) is a line sold mostly through spas with some limited internet availabilty. As far as the formulas go they are often compared to Cellex-C and Skinceuticals as their formulations are almost identical except that Innovative Skincare uses cobalt blue bottles and has a few more active ingredients in some of the formulas. Fortunately, these extra active ingredients seem to really kick their effectiveness up a notch by comparison. But effectiveness seems to vary greatly between the products. Reviewers have reported that some formulas (such as the Super Serum and Poly-Vitamin Serum) have been quite effective at combating wrinkles and improving skin tone, but that other products didnt produce much in the way of significant results (such as with the eye-area products and the moisturizing products). Reviewers also reported that one product in particular, the Active Serum, had some adverse effects (almost certainly due to the very high hydroxy acid content). Unfortunately, the products in this line that have received the most favorable reviews, the Super Serum and Poly-Vitamin Serum, are also the most expensive ($110-$120 for just one ounce). While these products were quite effective on the skin of most of reviewers it is hard to say if they are worth this amount of money for the quantity offered. Innovative Skincare's main website only mentions the "key ingredients" in each formula, but other websites do provide a full ingredient list for their products. While the "complexes" do use paraben preservatives, the "serums" seem to be much more carefully formulated and do not use paraben preservatives or high concentrations of synthetic chemicals. Reviewers have reported that the customer service for this line is excellent, and if money is of no concern then the Super Serum and Poly-Vitamin Serum are recommended buys. If money is of concern many reviewers have recommended the Ultra Serum Sunguard Complex from Xeridian Skincare, which have the same ingredients (plus some extra ones), come in double the fluid ounce amount, and are about 1/3 to 1/2 the cost. The Fusion Beauty line also has the LiftFusion product that retails in the same price range these Innovative Skincare products and contains many of the same ingredients. Typical Price Range Up to $125 for a face product and up to $65 for eye products.
