| Obagi
Anti-Aging Rating: 2.5 out of 5 Overall Impression: Fair Review Obagi originally come on to the skin treatment scene with the Obagi Blue Peel that was administered in physician offices. Its much like a higher strength hydroxy acid peel that is a deep blue color when applied to the face. Its success in this area led to a broader skin care line that is retailed in doctor offices, spas, and all over the internet. Surprisingly its moderately priced for a line that was originally sold only in higher end retail outlets, though some of the more expensive formulas retail for upwards of $85 an ounce. They have a strong focus on providing formulas for sensitive skin, which is surprising because some of their products contain paraben preservatives and fragrance which in higher concentrations can be skin irritants. Though reviewers didnt see much in the way of dramatic results with these products there are still a number of people devoted to the use of these products, so they must be working on some level to retain this customer base.. Typical Price Range Up to $85 for a face product and up to $45 for an eye-area product Website Various online skin care retailers (obagi.com is under construction) Similar Lines Dermalogica, La Roche-Posay, Lamas, Kiehl's |
