The objective.
The SkinnydipClub was the idea of Alan Jefferson. His objective was simple; To seek out others who shared his love of skinny dipping.

Background history.
As a young student in England, Alan had discovered naturism. He had always known about naturists but always thought them to be a hippy-like bunch of middle-aged people who kept themselves hidden away in secret clubs behind tall fences. His attempts to join a naturist club did little to encourage him or change his view of naturists. Alan discovered that young single men were not welcome at such clubs and unless he was born into a naturist family or found a naturist girl to marry, he would never see the other side of that naturist fence.

College Days.
Until going to college, Alan always kept his love of naturism to himself. He would secretly strip off in his parents garden, or go skinny dipping by himself in a nearby lake when nobody was about. It was only when he went to college and had the opportunity to meet more people that he discovered others with similar interests. Alan's new friends were not naturists as such, but as hormonal teenagers were keen to explore all things nude, and that included skinny dipping.

Growing up.
As the skinny dipping became more frequent, the parities more drunken, and the streaking more risky, Alan realised that the roller coaster was about to come off the rails. His friends were more interested in sex than naturism and along with sex came relationships and responsibilities. What had started out as childish fun was now turning into adult entertainment.

Graduation.
As Alan's college days came to an end so too did the trips to the lake. The group of friends drifted off in different directions to find their place in the world. Alan tried again to join a naturist club but felt uncomfortable with the family oriented "naturism is a way of life" attitude among older naturists. It seemed that they had forgotten how exciting naturism is. That nudity is FUN! Sill being a young man Alan wanted adventure and excitement.

The beginnings.
It was a chance encounter in an Internet chat room that led Alan to discover that he was not alone in his desire to partake in non-sexual, nude recreation. He learned that other people had similar desires and were posting their experiences on the Net. Alan began to correspond with some of these people and discovered that they were, like him, excited by the adventure of nude activities.

The Club.
In the hope of encouraging others with similar stories, Alan set up a Yahoo Group called SkinnydipClub. The aim of this club is simple: To provide a meeting point for anyone who loves not only skinny dipping but any form of nude recreation, so that its members can share experiences, swap ideas, make new friends, show off their photos and plan new adventures.

Philosophy.
Nudity is FUN.
