FOR RECENT EVENTS READ THE JOURNAL ENTRIES- NO USE WRITING ABOUT THEM TWICE! April 27, 2002 I got to skate again. This time in Sun Valley, ID. Jon and I love it here and it is always a treat to skate on their out-door arena! I also skated on a freestyle session on the indoor arena - what a treat. Only two other skaters, what a treat! April 12, 2002 I got to skate! I went for a trip to my native land of Minnesota. There is an old train depot they converted to a skating rink and I skated from 1030pm-1230am. They had the disco ball and all. The crowd thinned out after 1130, so I had a blast! April 6, 2002 Lori and I were experiencing skating withdrawal, so we went "slush skating" on Jackson Lake. A beautiful day to be outside, but skating was difficult. See the pictures of our fun day. March 23, 2002 I ended the season with a BANG, literally. A terrible fall sent me to the ER with only one day of ice left in the season. Read more about it in the journal. March 21, 2002 The JHFSC Spring Exhibition. I performed my Artistic Program "Calypso" for probably the last time. March 15-17, 2002 The Jackson Hole Invitational Competition. Read more about it on the Competition Results page. February 23, 2002 My first solo performance in, oh 14 years or so! I skated between periods of a hockey game to about 300 spectators to John Denver's Calypso. A shakey performance, but a success considering I survived! February 21, 2002 SLC 2002!!! We went to the Adult Ladies Free Skate. I saw Sarah Hughes take the house down! One of the best experiences of my life. I have the best husband!! He surprised me wih tickets! December 15-16, 2001 JHFSC production of the Nutcracker on Ice. My husband and I were Mr. and Mrs. Stahlbaum. I was also in the Dance of the Flowers group number. |
