~ Scott taught Timothy Goebel (2002 Olympic Bronze Medalist) his lutz jump.

* Scott once dated Kitty Carruthers (1984 Olympic Pairs Silver Medalist with brother-TV Commentator-Peter Carruthers).

~ Scott's first show number was when he was just starting to skate and all he had to do was zip around the rink and fall before reaching the "finish line."

* His first real exhibition was a year later, he skated to Sabre Dance.

~ Scott's choreographer won an Emmy for best choreography in a TV special for her work in "Scott Hamilton : Upside-Down."

* Sarah Kawahara (Scott's Choreographer) choreographed the opening and closing ceremonies for the 2002 SLC Winter Olympics (which she won an Emmy for), as well as Michelle Kwan's LP for that year.

~ Scott Hamilton's costume designer, Jef Billings, has received numerous Emmy Nominations for his work with Stars On Ice. He also designs for Angela Nikodinov, Sarah Hughes, and Katarina Witt; among many others.
