| You don't have to be royalty or a Hollywood celebrity to stand out in the crowd. All it taked is the desire and dedication to help other people. That's what being a member of the St. John Ambulance brigade is all about. The Brigade is a dedicated group of volunteers made up of people just like you, who want toi serve their community in an important and unique way. Brigade members volunteer their time and learn first aid techniques and use these life-saving skills to help others. |  | ||

A a member of the Brigade, you will provide volunteer patient care at a variety of public events, such as parades, hockey games, concerts and cultural events. You will be trained as a top-notch first aider and your distinctive black and white uniform will tell the world that when someone needs help, you'll be there. | |
| Being a Brigade member isn't always easy, but those who belong to this unique group of volunteers agree that it is always rewarding and often fun.
In addition to your duties as a patient care provider, the Brigade offers the opportunity to gain other valuable experience, including leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. |
