Jesus had saved me
from a life of sin.
He took away the fear
and gave me peace within.

He blessed me with a
brand new life.
I walked with Jesus
staying close by His side.

But as time went by
I neglected to pray.
And distracted by life
I wandered away.

Wandering in wastelands
there was no place to rest.
My soul was thirsty and hungry
and I was distressed.

Then I cried out to the
Lord in my pain,
and He delivered me from all
guilt and shame.
Inspired by  Psalm 107:1-9
Thanks to the Lord for His Unfailing Love
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;  His love endures forever.
Let the redeemed of the Lord say this---those He redeemed from the hand of the foe,
those He gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.
Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no way to a city where they could settle.
They were hungry and thirsty, and their lives ebbed away.
Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them from their distress.
He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle.
Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for men,
for He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
Psalm 107:1-9
He has lead me back
to His side.
In the shadow of His wings
He lets me hide.

I praise God for His
unfailing love,
and His wonderful deeds
from Heaven above.

He satisfies the thirsty
and fills the hungry with good things
He puts a song in my heart
so now I can sing.

I praise God
for His unfailing love,
and His wonderful deeds
from Heaven above.
