In this world full of wickedness and sin A star shined brightly, no one could dim Living each day to serve the Lord Defending and confirming God's Holy Word Encouraging Christians to stand up for right Doing God's work, knowing soon it would be night Serving God faithfully in every way Living for Jesus as if this was his last day His time has come, God has taken Him Home The work that He's done we must carry on He's still that star shining so bright Saying serve while it's day, soon it will be night One day we'll get to see him once again When we each enter the promised land He served God faithfully knowing God has won Jesus took his hand and said 'My son well done" copywrite 11/07/92 Sandy Seefeld

I was given this poem by God when a good friend of mine, John McCloskey, who died after an accident he had on a new motorcycle he had just bought. I heard it said that when he would leave after doing business with someone or visiting with someone he would not say good bye or see you later, he would say "Love Jesus". He loved the Lord so much it radiated all over him as he played his guitar in our church. He would just praise God and sing and dance playing his guitar every Sunday. What a blessing he was to know. I imagine that the last words he said to the sales man from whom he bought his new motorcycle from were "Love Jesus". Now I can imagine him in Heaven, singing and praising & playing his guitar before God and I look forward to seeing all my friends again someday who have gone to be with Jesus. This poem is dedictated to him and all the others who have lived for Jesus and gone home.

Well Done
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8
