Pros: This is an absolute pillar of the Speed metal genre. This is Running Wild's first album, and is a must for any fan of early heavy metal. So many bands nowadays owe so much to bands like Running Wild for really bringing in the speed into metal while maintaining the catchiness of the riff. Gates to Purgatory, as far as I am concerned, is the epitome of catchy; a fantastic album overall.

Cons: None really worth mentioning.
