Album Genre: Goth Rock/Nu-Metal

Pros: The foundation of this band is Amy Lee, simple as that. Without Amy's stunning vocal performance, Evanescence would simply be another run of the mill rock band; I guess that is their con as well. Regardless of how long this band will last, or its overall merits, the bottom line is that Fallen is a catchy as fuck album.

Cons: This is another re-hashed nu-metal band in reality, however the instrumental portions do support Amy's voice nicely. The album can be a bit repetitive if you listen to it in one helping.
