Album Genre: Viking/Folk Metal

Pros: The highlight of this album for me is the Folk portions of it. While the heavier Viking elements are a great accompaniment, I really think the band's writing shines when they do their softer folkish parts. Highlights include the heavier "Slayer of Light" and the Celtic folk song "Lai Lei Lei."

Cons: Can be repetitive in the harder portions.
