Dark Angel - Time Does Not Heal (1991) Reviewed on 8/8/04

Good

Nation: United States

Album Genre: Thrash Metal

Pros: '9 songs, 67 minutes, 246 riffs', this is what the promo sticker said on the original packaging when this album was distributed, and boy were they right. For anyone who knows anything about guitars, you'll know that 246 riffs is quite the feat. For any die hard thrash fan, Time Does Not Heal really magnifies the fever surrounding the race for the fastest, thrashiest riff around during the 1980's. Dark Angel really capitalized on this and this album is the result of that. The bottom line is, if you enjoy speed along with an attitude ridden track listing, you will have an orgasm over this album.

Cons: While the blatant amount of speed can be beneficial to this album, it also plays as its deterrent. For those who seek original numbers with mid paced head banging thrash, you should turn elsewhere, because this is a borderline overkill speed guitar attack courtesy of Dark Angel.
