The Sirius range of Dutch style narrow boats are among the most outstanding vessels in service at the present time. A combination of quality craftsmanship, high-grade materials and manufacturing perfection has developed a range of vessels that are without equal.

Construction to yard specifications would consist of a flat-bottomed design with transverse framing and integral tanks. A raised bow profile and convex transom along with the collapsible lantern style wheelhouse gives the vessel its characteristic rugged appearance.


The wheelhouse is constructed in hardwood with the ability for the sides to collapse and the roof to be removed in two or three sections. Fully glazed and lined, the wheelhouse offers protection from the enviroment in the coldest weather and an excellent panoramic view of the area. Two seats are formed from the storage lockers situated to the rear of the wheelhouse and various storage lockers are situated below side deck level. A teak steering wheel operating the hydraulic steering mechanism, rudder position indicator and control panel are sited on the custom made console. Hardwood doors port and starboard are dressed with brass furniture and locks.
