MY HERNIA, well, not exactly me, but very close. My abdomenals are not connected, I am held together by scar tissue, fat, and my skin. I have to live with this hernia forever. I am paralyzed because of a careless butcher of a surgeon.
How you ask? Well after several attempts to correct my hernia, I developed a very high fever (107.9F) and septic shock. The result is gray matter brain damage and spinal cord damage. Thanks alot Doc. My life as a police officer and volunteer firefighter are over.
Now I am a 6'5" 300 lb. quadriplegic confined to a wheelchair for the rest of my life.
BE AWARE! Doctors are not always right, and some shouldn't be carving into innocent people!
This is NOT a picture of Me, just a very similar situation. My abdomin is distended and my internal organs have shifted to the left. Yes it does hurt, I have pain 24/7.
I do however do not hate all doctors and want to thank Dr. Cap, he was sent from Heaven and gave me a second chance at life. I had a perferrated ulcer and he saved my life. |
