TO ALL THE VICTIMS OF THE SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 WORLD TRADE CENTER ATTACK
ALL THE FIRE FIGHTERS, POLICE OFFICERS, AND EMS WORKERS

My Fellow Firefighters

On September 11, 2001, a call came in to the station,
The Twin Towers were struck and it shocked our nation.
I can't imagine the thoughts of the first responders,
There was no time for the first in crew to ponder.
Who would have thought the towers would fall,
On the rescuers answering the call.
They are symbols of power and pride,
When they collapsed I cried.
I felt so helpless watching my TV,
I had to watch my fellow firefighters flee.
Losing one firefighter on the job is sad,
Losing 300 makes me mad.
Why did they have to die that way?
Who ever are responsible will definitely pay.
I may be handicapped and unable to walk,
But I am still a firefighter at heart.
What ever my fellow firefighters need or what ever I can do,
I will be here for you.

September 11

On September 11, 2001, 343 brothers relocated to heaven up above
Heaven will be safer now than it ever was.
God only wants the best fire protection he can find
Thats why he takes one of us, from time to time.
Little one dry your tears, its time to move on
Get on with our lives, its time to be strong.
Let us never forget the bravery of our fallen brothers
Who unselfishly ran in to save the lives of others.

Every nine-eleven is especially hard on me
I feel guilty I couldnt help my brothers in need.
A horrible syndrome has left me paralyzed
But I would sell my soul to bring them back, alive.
Heaven is now a much safer place
Where the devil will never show his face.
I hope our God has finished staffing his stations
With some of the bravest in our nation.

But if he ever needs just one more
I hope it is me, this time for shore.
