Name:
Bomb
Status: Rapper, Graphic Designer, photographer
Bomb has always
been into hip-hop but first began rapping in 1998. He made his first
song by playing an instrumental and rapping at the same time, which
didn't allow any room for mistakes or it meant starting all over
again. Bomb decided to make an album in 2001 after making appearances
on Ravens albums and realising he had enough material and ideas
to make his own. Since then he has made 2 other projects and made
guest appearances on many other albums. Bombs rapping is always
progressing but he still doesn't feel he has reached his full potential.
He tries to make songs that reflect the way he feels, he wants his
emotions to come through on the tracks as he thinks this is when
he makes his best songs. He says "you've got to really feel
and believe in what you're saying or it just comes across as weak
and fake, you shouldn't be rapping about being pissed off and angry
unless you really are. That's why I have to be in the right frame
of mind when recording certain songs. Cus I cant do it if the feelings
not there". Bomb always wants his next project to be better
than the last and is always trying new ideas, because he feels if
your not progressing there's no point. He is influenced by many
different music forms and artists not just hip hop, Bomb wants to
be known for his own style and sound because he feels that the best
rappers are the ones with a unique style. Whereas 'so many just
blend into the background cus they sound like everyone else'.

On The Brink of
Madness Bomb began work on his 2nd full album at the end of July
2002. He choose the title 'on the brink of madness' as he felt this
represented his state of mind at the time of making the album. Tunes
such as 'sick' and 'dont give a monkeys' sum up the way Bomb feels
about the world at this time. Although there are other moods also
shown on this album on tracks such as 'trying not 2 frown' Bomb
feels there should be somthing for everyone on this album and if
you dont agree you can 'Burn in hell'

This
is Bomb's first LP made in the summer of 2001, This LP's full of
hardcore beats with straight spitting lyrics. There are also a few
concept tracks like two faced featuring 'Rap Raven' which combines
2 tracks in one, One is about people who hate on british hip hop,
the other is about transforming into another creature.
Other tracks include 'Black Sheep' which is a reminisce of the past,
and 'Torture with House objects' Which Bomb said he made because-
"Im tired of hearing people chat shit about killing people
with gats etc., when they dont even own a gun. Im being real, im
talking about sick ways I would kill these dickheads with every
day objects you find in your home".The LP ends with 'Story
Ending Never' featuring emcees from all over East London. |
