About me:
Good day to you, my name is Ines Alfón. Presently, it is the year of our Lord 1351, and I was born and raised in Burgos, the capital of Castille-Leon. Our Rey, Alfonso XI the Avenger, died in the last year succumbing to some evil plague as he seiged Gibralter. My cousin Mór inghean Chathail, distant though she may be, asked me to come visit her in Dublin to discuss matters of lineage. Specifically, she named me as her heir, leaving no issue of her own to take her lands. I came, letters in hand, as she lay mortally wounded, barely able to confirm her wishes noted in the letter. She begged me to take over immediately, even should she live, for she was tired of the secular life.

Marauders had come, sacking and looting of her lands and people. There are rumors of treachery in the household. These northern people are barbaric, but I must get used to it. I brought up a few sheep, as we are famous for our merino wool in Burgos. I have no idea if I can breed them in these Northern climes but I am sure they can only be an improvement.

Mór has told me of holdings in a far land called Calontir. It seems I will have to look over the holdings there also and inform the households there of the change, and of the health of their former lady.

Hobbies & Interests:
I have gotten very interested in the armory of neighboring landowners and of the foreign folk as well. The armory of those all over the Knowne Worlde facinates me as well. The picture above is my coat of arms. The blazon for this is "Azure, in pale two tygers passant contourny queue-forchee argent." Normally, however, it would follow normal grammar structure. The 'tygers' are heraldic tygers; a monster described as "having a lion's body, a horse's maned neck, and the head of a wolf, with a frontal horn from the upper jaw" rather than a type of cat, and 'queue-forchée' describes the tails, that they are split in two.

I am also a scribe for my barony and kingdom and have completed several scrolls. I wish I had a picture of my first scroll, but I will be putting pictures of my scrolls here. In the same places will be pictures of consultations as needed, and possibly garb. I am proud to have done a Pelican scroll the likeness of which I hope to place online at some point, and have finished a 20-year-overdue knight's scroll.
