Hello, and welcome!
Thank you for clicking on "Rules" before doing anything else. Lots of people don't do it (bad, bad, bad!). Don't worry, we'll catch them ;) Remember SimStage's Owners (Webmasters) are Bryan and me (Jorddy). I am in charge of everything and Bryan is in charge of the Club's style and he also is the Head Moderator.
Well, let's get to the point, here are the rules (I hope they're not too many):
1.-DO NOT CREATE NAMES WITH THE PREFIX ADMIN, SIMMASTER, MAYOR, MODERATOR OR JUNIORMOD BEFORE THEM.
2.-DO NOT tell other users you work for SimStage if you don't. This is so they don't think SimStage is full of admins.
3.-One of the most important rules is the following: Keep your comments/topics/posts to G-rated ones. This means: NO ADULT COMMENTS. This is an all-ages site and if you are caught saying something to a kid they don't like, or posting or chatting about not all-ages stuff, I warantee you that you will be punished (this applies to molesters, teenagers looking for cybering or something or every person who's not looking for all-ages stuff).
4.-NO advertising. This can get you muted. (I have seen, thanks to my experience in other SimChats, that this confuses users. Let me tell you when you can advertise: When a user asks if you know where they can get objects or whatever, because it wouldn't be advertising, it would be answering a question to help a user; You can also advertise websites when a staff member allows you to (like when you want to advertise your newly created site); Finally, you can advertise when the site you're about to advertise is one of our affiliates or appears in our Links page :)
5.-NO HARRASSING. If someone tells on you, you will be prosecuted and punished.
6.-There will be NO offending to ANY staff member, no matter their level or age or actions. They have my complete authorization to deal with you if you are bothering them. If any staff member says anything bad to you or abuses their power, PLEASE notify me, for we don't need that kind of staff. This is very important. Please notify me a.s.a.p. if any staff member is power-abusing, bragging, etc. It's my job to deal with staff. Bryan's job is to punish rule-breakers, for he is Head Moderator. 7.-NO caps. Umm, you can use caps in abreviations, of course. You can also type ONE word in caps, but not TWO words together (which means you can cap separate words in a long sentence, if you need to, but please, do not abuse) or a complete sentence. No doing THIS of HAVING one YES and ONE no. The staff can make other members see your caps as lower-cases.
8.-NO flooding. This can also get you muted. This means not to post a same message repeatedly and a lot of times. This applies to both, Message Board, and Chat. In chat, you'll just get muted, but in the Message Board, the staff will have to delete your messages and this will make them lose their time. This is disrespectful, and you can get punished for being a bad user.
9.-NO polls. This means asking something to the whole room. For example: "ASL everyone?" This is because it enourages people to answer, flooding the chat. No one will get muted, but the poll starter will, thoe (Umm, after being Warned and asked to stop, of course).
10.-If you cuss (swear), you will get muted. The Message Board has a Bad Word filter, so dun worry. However, the MB tells us everytime it has to use the filter on you and if you abuse it, you will get punished.
11.-This is the procedure a staff member MUST follow:
1st, they are to Warn you.
2nd, they are to Mute you.
3rd, they are to send you to Jail.
4th, they are to Ban you. (After being sent to jail 4 times and just for 3 days).
5th, they are to PERMANENTLY Ban you. (After being banned twice).
If your fault was VERY bad, a staff member may decide to skip some of these steps. For example, giving your serial numbers to someone else leads to an automatic Permanent Ban. Remember doing this is also illegal, and we will definitely notify Maxis if you do it so they ban you from their site and sue you. Remember our staff has lots of names. Who knows? The person you're chatting with may be a staff member. Plus, we can read the logs even if no one was in the room at the time, AND we can also be invisible. Be very careful, rule-breakers.
12.-PLEASE, if a user is bothering you in ANY way, tell them to stop. If they don't stop, notify a member of the staff IMMEDIATELY. If no staff is around, PM QBot this: /MEMO (SimMaster's name) (Your accusation). With this, the member of the staff you notified will get your accusation next time they log on. This is like leaving an e-mail. In the Message Board, click on "Notify" to tell on a post. Also, you can email the abuse team or any member of the staff with your accusation. All staff e-mails are:

And so are all the Teams' emails, like:

13.-Before you do anything else, please REGISTER your nickname in Chat and in the Message Board. In Chat, click the button "Chat Panel" and then "Register" or type /register (nickname) (email). In the Message Board, click on "Register". We are not responsible if someone takes your name if you didn't register it. Remember these 2 names have to be IDENTICAL so it's easier to contact you.
14.-The movies are here to entertain you, so please don't ridiculize them, even if you don't like them. This really makes directors sad :( Of course, you may leave your comments on the Comments Box right at the ending of a movie. This comments are to propose improvements or to congratulate the movie. This really makes directors happy :) I'm j/k, if a movie does not please you, please send you comments, but don't be very rude ;) Also, we are not responsible if you watch something not appropiate for your age. ALL movies have ratings, so please, ONLY view the ones made for your age.
G: All ages
PG: 10-13
PG-13: 13-15
There will be NO movies higher than that, not even PG-15 to mantain the all-ages rating of The Club.

Umm, sorry, I think they are a lot of rules, but, trust me, they're here so the Club remains an all-ages Club. Thank you for taking the time to read them! :) Please follow them. Remember the staff can be invisible, so follow the rules at all times. If a staff member catches you being bad while they were invisible, they can still punish you.
