The Sims Galaxy - Cheats For The Sims

These are cheats for The Sims. Some only work with version 1.1 and later, and they come in handy when you are very, very stuck (no money, can't afford bills, etc, etc).

While playing the game, press [CTRL] + [SHIFT] + [C] until a little green text box appears in the top left-hand side of your screen, then type in these codes:

klapaucius -$1000 (version 1 only).

rosebud -$1000 (version 1.1 and above only).

! -repeat last cheat.

!;!; -repeat last cheat more that once (if you just typed in klapaucius and you want more, type in !;!;!;!;!;!; to get $6000 more simoleons).

move_objects on/off -move any object. NOTE: DO NOT delete the mail box! I know it sounds weird, but if you do, no body will come round your house and you can't make any friends! If you have deleted it, you can go to www.thesimsresource.com and download the mailbox retriever from the programs menu.

autonomy X -change how much Sims think for themselves. In place of X put a number from 1-100 (1 being your Sim is really dumb and just stands around itching themselves and 100 being the state of which you can just sit back and watch them do all the chores for you).

interests -show what your Sim is interested in. This menu is useful for choosing which career path to take. It does change depending on what you make your Sim do, though.

map_edit on/off -edit which parts of the map/lot you can build on. Select the road and you can put a house in the middle of it!

visitor_control on/off -toggle the ability to move visitors with your keyboard (version 1 only).

water_tool -have the ability to make your house be surrounded by water. Click and drag to make water appear. I used this cheat to make boat houses for a pirate town.

set_hour X -change the time of day. In place of X put a number from 1-24, 1 being 1:00am and 24 being 12 o'clock midnight (version 1 only).

Free Pizza

(I discovered this one while trying out the move_objects cheat!) When the pizza man comes to the door, go to buy mode and do the move any object cheat. Take the pizza box out of his hands and put it on a table (or the ground if preferred). Wait until the pizza man goes away from the door (remember to go back to live mode first) and you have yourself a free pizza!
