Homer causes a bag boy strike at the local supermarket resulting in the family not having food. They find a box of 30 year old animal crackers in their attic with a golden giraffe as one of the animals. It says on the back of the box that if there's a golden animal in the box that they win a free trip to Africa. Even though the company's contest expired 30 years ago they decide to send the Simpsons to Africa anyway. Once there, the Simpsons see some of the sights, but eventually get lost down a river and try to find their way back to their camp.
This is Episode #265 in The Simpsons series. It is Episode #17 in Season 12.
