After seeing the Gay Pride Parade go by their house, The Simpsons decide to get out of there and go see a movie at the local theatre. After seeing preview after preview after preview Homer goes nuts and stirs up the theatre workers. Soon they are chasing after him and when Homer runs away he accidentally smashes his jaw into a statue. The result is that Homer breaks his jaw and has to have his jaws wired shut. Homer is devestated, but soon adjusts to the change. He learns to listen more to his family and becomes a better human being. When he finally gets the wires taken off his jaws Marge worries that he will go back to his reckless ways, but Homer actually manages to stay kinder and politer. Weeks later, Marge becomes bored with her life and decides that the family needs at least one live wire and rises up to the challenge.
This is Episode #278 in The Simpsons Series. It is also Episode #9 in Season 13.
